HARBOUR VIEW:--- His Excellency the Governor of Sint Maarten, drs. E.B. Holiday, made the following declaration on the news that came from the Netherlands today about the passing away of Prince Friso.
"It is with sadness that I took notice this morning of the passing away of His Royal Highness Prince Friso. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the members of the Royal Family, who have suffered so much since the tragic accident of the Prince in Austria last year. Prince Friso, who was such a talented person, will be remembered with great respect inside and outside the Kingdom. On behalf of the people of Sint Maarten I convey heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family and wish them strength, courage and God's guidance during this difficult period."
The Governor and his wife sent their condolences today to the members of the Royal Family in letters to the King and to Princess Beatrix.
